Weddings
The
Berkshires are beautiful all year 'round, with each season offering its
own unique attractions. More and more, couples choose this area for
their special celebrations. If you are considering a wedding in the
Berkshires with a guest list of seventy-five or less, our Inn would be
perfect for you.
The
Egremont Inn hosts Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Ceremonies, and
Receptions. We have sample celebration menus available but we prefer to
work directly with our clients to create menus that reflect their taste
and budget requirements. Because we have a busy, popular restaurant
which serves the public as well as houseguests, and we offer elegant,
individually plated and served meals, we limit our parties to
seventy-five people. Please help yourself to our sample Rehearsal Dinner and Reception
menus.
Depending
on the time of year, and individual choice, couples can choose to hold
their ceremony beside Karner Brook, which runs by the Inn near a grassy
area perfect for a trellis or flowered arbor........or on our wrap
around front porch with a little drizzle in the air............ or in
front of one of our three fireplaces in the sitting rooms.
We
provide our couples with a list of vendors which includes bakers to
provide the wedding cake, and florists for the wedding flowers and
centerpieces. The Berkshires has a long history of outstanding
musicianship and our wedding couples have a wide variety of options, as
the restaurant has a wonderful dance floor for the celebration.
