New York City, NY
Throgs Neck Bridge (from Long Island) to Hutchinson River Parkway North to Route 684 to the end where
it merges with Route 22 with signs that indicate Pawling, NY. Or take
the Taconic Parkway North
and get off at the exit that indicates New York
23, Hillsdale and go East on Route 23 toward South
Egremont, MA. After entering the Village of South
Egremont, go through the center of the
town and watch for the small blue sign "The Egremont Inn".
Bear right at the small island. The Inn
is 200 yards ahead on the right.
From New York City you can also take the Henry Hudson Parkway
to the Saw Mill River
Parkway to the The
Taconic Parkway. There are no Exit #"s on
the Taconic, only Exit Names. Our exit is New York (Route) 23
.
From Boston, MA
Mass Pike West to exit 2 (Lee). 102
West to Route 7 South through Stockbridge and Great Barrington. Outside Great Barrington
take Route 23 West toward South Egremont.
In 3.3 miles bear left of the blue sign that indicates The Egremont
Inn. The Inn is straight ahead.
From Albany, NY
90 East to Route 22, then 71 South to
Route 23. Take a right on Route 23, 1.7 miles, then
bear left at the island. The Inn is
straight ahead.
From Hartford, CT
Route 91 North to Mass Pike, Route
90. West to Exit 2 (Lee), South on Route 102 to Stockbridge, then pick up Route 7 South through Great Barrington. Just
after Great Barrington center, go West (bear right) on route 23 (this
is a traffic light intersection). After 3.3 miles, bear left at the
island with the small blue sign. The Inn
is straight ahead.
From Danbury, CT
North on Route 7, through Canaan, CT. Turn
left on Route 23 West (just before you enter Great Barrington
Center). After
3.3 miles, bear left at the island. The Inn
is straight ahead.
From New Jersey
Take Route 287 North to Route 684
North to the end where it merges with Route 22 North. Take Route
22 North to Route
23 East (right turn) in Hillsdale, NY. The Inn is 6 miles from there;
follow directions as provided above.
